HTC has begun a rollout of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the HTC One in the UK about a week ago and now, the Taiwanese Smartphone manufacturer has suspended the rollout. It is done because many users are facing problems after the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update but the correct information about the problems is still not given.
Well, while talking to some users of the HTC One in the UK who have upgraded their HTC Ones to the Android 4.4.2 KitKat, we managed to fetch some information about the issues that users are experiencing with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
Notably decreased battery life.
Calls defaulting to speaker.
“We are aware that a limited number of HTC users are experiencing difficulties with the KitKat update. As a result, all FOTA updates have been temporarily suspended. HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience and we are working hard to resolve the issue quickly.”

I can confirm the increased battery use since upgrading to 442 last week. I cannot get a days use of it it since. I can sometimes lose as much as 10% in about half hour without even using it.
