LG Unveils The Water And Dust Resistant Optimus GJ Smartphone.

A couple of days ago, LG unveiled its new smartphone in Taiwan named the Optimus GJ. From the looks of it, It is designed to compete with the Sony Xperia Z, Because one of the main new feature is that it is dust and water resistant. As far as the looks are concerned it looks like an upgraded version of LG Optimus G.

Specs include a 4.7"-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, A Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 gigs of RAM, 13 MP camera on the back and a 1.2 MP camera on the front, 16GB of internal storage, A 2280 mAh battery and all this running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. As far as its main feature is concerned it is water resistant upto 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Currently the phone is available in Taiwan only for about TWD 17990 just over 600$. Currently their is no word from LG on the availability internationally, If you are interested and abroad the best option is to import the sleek looking device or wait it out.
