There were rumors that there were some devices that were going to announced sometime next week in Japan. It looks like FCC got the jump on the official announcement of the device, The device in question is SO-04E codenamed "DOGO" and heading to the NTT DoCoMo. This particular model will be called the Xperia A confirmed by DoCoMo user manual.
The guys over at Xperia Blog also speculated that the device will be a little bit chunkier then the Xperia Z, The specs are that it will have a 5"-inch 1080p display, 16 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and a removable 2,300mAh battery with a 13 MP main camera with EXMOR RS sensor and a 2.2 MP front camera. The dimensions of Xperia A will be 139 x 71 x 7.9mm and will weigh about 146g . What our sources don't know is that whether the chipset be Qualcomm S600 or some other, But it wont be too long to find that out.
