Sony has started to roll out an update for the Xperia ZL(C650X). Xperia ZL was launched weeks after Xperia Z and it was the first of the Xperia family to come with Android 4.2.2 out of the box. The screenshot below show us that the new firmware build 10.3.A.0.423 is already started available for the European LTE version smartphone (C6503). The guys over at XperiaBlog have also confirmed that the update is being seeded to the HSPA+ version smartphone(C6202).
This is some great news for Xperia lovers given the sheer amount of updates which are being made available by Sony Mobile, It highlights that the company has turned a leaf when it comes to the timing of the updates. Hopefully it won't take long for Xperia Z to taste Android 4.2.2.
