We have some great news for the people who are residing in India, A new Xperia smartphone is headed your way. The Sony Xperia ZR(C550X) will be subject to a limited global launch and one of the countries in which it will make an appearance is India. The smartphone has gone up for pre-order in that region.
Both Flipkart and Infibeam have listed Xperia ZR on pre-order for INR 29,990 ($516) which seems like reasonable price. You can order your smartphone in Black, White and Pink, No Mint unfortunately.
It looks like the launch is not that far away. Infibeam has pegged 15 June release date and Flipkart has listed third week of June. We haven't seem it go up for pre-order in any other region yet, But if you have seen it go up on somewhere please let us know by commenting below.
