Well good news to the Xperia Ion LTE users because the Jelly Bean update is right around. Although the HSPA+ variant (LT28h) got their Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update a while back, But for some reason Sony left the LTE variant (LT28i) out of the loop. Anyway, It looks like the wait be little as the new firmware was certified on PTCRB website just a week ago. The firmware version is exactly the same as the HSPA+ firmware 6.2.B.0.211. Sorry to bring a little bad news, That is whether the update will be available for AT&T Xperia Ion users is entirely another matter.
