Sony's upcoming hotcake device codenamed Honami got its official name Xperia Z1, The rumors comes from a very reliable XDA-developer user, Who has provided some leaks regarding Xperia devices in the past.
To add the toppings, Some low-res press shot of Xperia Z1 have been found in the wild. The images tell us that the device will be available in three colors namely White, Black and Purple. The other thing that the pictures show us is the glass back of the phone identical to this years flagship device Xperia Z.
The Xperia Z1 (or Xperia Z One) which was previously referred to as Xperia 1i Honami, But if the rumors pan out correct we finally get to learn name of the device.
Just a reminder to those who have not yet heared of the device, The device will be powered by Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 and quadcore Krait 400 CPU. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with Sony's Xperia UI on top. As with many of Sony's high end devices the Xperia Z1 might also be water proof.
The selling point of the device will be the 20.7MP camera, Rumored to shoot 4K video and backed up by a Xenon and LED flash combo.
The device is expected to break cover on September 4th at IFA in Berlin.
