The world was waiting for the BBM from the BlackBerry as the company was almost ready to launch it the previous week.However,an unofficial version of BBM leaked out in the online market before the company could even set its target.The unofficial Android app exceeded the figure of 1 million in just few hours that dragged the company's attention towards it.
However,the app caused some issues which the company tried to resolve.These premature versions of BBM caused many issues for the BlackBerry that not only left the company to think over the matter but also stopped the global rolling of BBM,as said by BlackBerry.
The company quickly took some major steps and spread the words that the iPhone customers who've already downloaded the app can continue to use it and gave instructions to the android customers to visit their BBM Web site for the latest updates.
"Our teams continue to work around the clock to bring BBM to Android and iPhone, but only when it's ready and we know it will live up to your expectations of BBM," BlackBerry added. "As soon as we are able, we will begin a staggered country roll-out of BBM for Android and continue the roll-out of BBM for iPhone." -BB
BlackBerry further added in it the last Friday that they undergo the expenditure of $950 to $995 million,which also includes cutting about 4500 jobs.
