Samsung to introduce a curved display Smartphone some time in the fourth quarter as Samsung Mobile Business Head of strategic marketing D.J. Lee said "We plan to introduce a Smartphone with a curved display in South Korea in October".The announcement was made at the launching event of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in Seoul.
We also heard the news about the flexible displays to spot with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and also the upcoming Phablet of LG will probably use flexible displays but Samsung might not be ready for a completely flexible display so they decided to launch a curved display Smartphone first.
Samsung is still working on the flexible displays but there are a lot of requirements which to be fulfill before launching these flexible displays in the markets, So this is a great forward now to introduce a curved display Smartphone.
