The new family member of the Nexus family LG made Nexus 5 is launched on November 1st with the Android 4.4 Kit-Kat running out of the box and now the Google's Director of Engineering for Android David Burke has interviewed by The Verge and he said that the Android 4.4.1 Kit-Kat update for the Nexus 5 brings the several improvements to the camera of the Nexus 5 and after this update the camera of the Nexus 5 will become really faster.
The Google's Director of Engineering for Android has confirmed that this update will allow the Nexus 5 camera to focus faster and the aim is to select faster shutter speeds. After this update we can clearly see the difference in before and after images taken by the camera of the Nexus 5, after the update the images captured with the Nexus 5 have less motion blur and camera shake, lets have a look at the samples below
The new Android 4.4.1 Kit-Kat update also let the camera pp to process very quickly and also gives the new process indicator to the camera app in order to show the progress in HDR+ mode. The new update is also bringing the bug fix for the face unlock feature of the Nexus 5.
David Burke also stated that this update took his teams 5 weeks to complete.
