In October, Nokia announced that it will be ending all developer support for Symbian and MeeGo. on 1st January 2014. And as this new year started Nokia has kept their words, the Ovi Store won't accept any more apps.
Well this is the end of of an era of Symbian and MeeGo and @Symbian Signed Team has tweeted about this, lets have a look at the tweet

Although, developer will no longer be able to publish new apps or updates on Ovi Store but they will still receive revenue from their apps and all currently available apps in the Store will remain available for download. Ovi Store is still opened but now its time to change tracks.
