Rumor says new mid-range HTC Desire spotted in China

A published report in China says that a leaked photograph of a unknown HTC handset is found is believed to be a mid-range HTC Desire model. The thin, red colored, 5 inch screen phone could be launched in the March-April time period. Which will be powered by a Snapdragon processor. According to the prediction it will cost around 2000 yuan ($330 USD).

HTC Chairwoman Cher Wang has called the third quarter a trough for her company and says that 2014 will be a comeback year for HTC. 

HTC has previously said that its problems were with the mid to low end of the market, It is possible that this is the recently leaked D310w model that was recently certified in Indonesia. This is tipped as a low end device with just 512MB of RAM on board so this new model might play an important part in the manufacturer's recovery for mid range market.
