Presently the Windows Phone market is dominated by the Finnish manufacturer Nokia and the Lumia series is the best Windows Smartphones among the people but now Windows Phone is getting ready to arrive from Japan. The Japanese manufacturer Sony is said to produce a Windows Smartphone this year as according to the industry sources and according to the sources, while Sony will be spending its R&D on the Android and the Firefox OS, the Japanese OEM will offer the Windows Smartphones in the Japan and in the US through carriers.
Sony is planning to partner with the Taiwanese born company ODM Compal Communications to produce at least 1 to 2 Windows Smartphones and the interesting thing is that the volume expected for those two units is only in the tens of thousands which is quietly limited, though Microsoft is hoping to increase the sales of the Windows phones in the Japan because people are excited after hearing that the Sony is working on the Windows OS device.
