Samsung say goodbye to the Super AMOLED display, Galaxy S5 will use Sharp's 2K display panel

People are waiting for the world's largest Smartphone manufacturer fifth generation Galaxy S Smartphone, yes we are talking about the world's hot favorite Samsung Galaxy S5 which is rumored to unveil at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014 and the device will also rumored to feature an eye scanning sensor but now the reports arrived from the Chinese website Tancent tells us that the Korean OEM has decided to say goodbye to the Super AMOLED HD display panel for the Samsung Galaxy S5.

According to the reports from the Tancent, Samsung to use the 2K display and for this purpose, the world's largest Smartphone manufacturer chosen the Sharp, a Japanese multinational corporation that designs and manufactures electronic products. Samsung has chosen the Sharp's 2K display for the fifth generation Galaxy S Smartphone because the Super AMOLED HD display panels are not able to fulfill the demands of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and also Samsung didn't manage to produce the 2K displays to meet the projected Galaxy S5 sales volume.

So in the end, Samsung is going to adopt Sharp 2K display panels of 5.25 inch Ultra HD 560 ppi LTPS for the Galaxy S5 if this report is to be believed.
