The Japanese OEM Sony has officially announced the Xperia Z Ultra Wi-Fi version for the Japanese markets and the device will hit the shelves on Friday, 24th of January. There is no change in the specifications and the Wi-Fi version remains the same hardware as found in the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, that means a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 Processor, 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 8 megapixel Camera, 32GB of internal memory and of course the speciality, IP58 certified body.
The slimmer tablet gets a price tag of ¥52,000 which is equal to about $499 and you can choose your favorite color for your ultra-thin slate from three different colors, black, white and purple. Unfortunately, outside the Japan, there is no news for you guys that when will the Xperia Z Ultra makes it entry to the other countries but we can say that it will happen soon.
