LG Optimus G Pro to get the KitKat treatment by the end of Q2

We have recently seen the report about the LG Optimus G Pro KnockON and QuickWindow functionality and now it seems that the Optimus G Pro makes its way to the track of the Android 4.4 KitKat updates. LG India has answered a question on Twitter regarding the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the LG Optimus G Pro but keep in mind that this is just an answer of the question which is not relate to any official press statement.

According to the answer that was given by the LG India on Twitter, the LG Optimus G Pro will get the Android 4.4 KitKat update in the end of Q2 which is too late in our opinion. If this statement is true, then we will expect the Android 4.4 KitKat update by the end of the June 2014 and it looks like that the LG is skipping the Android 4.3 JellyBean update.

Well, only the time frame gets disclosed by the LG India and unfortunately we didn't know the changelog of the Android 4.4 KitKat update but we will expect the LG's famous KnockON feature along with the QuickWindow case functionality. A couple of days ago, many users are reported that they gets an incremental update for their Optimus G Pro phablets via OTA and by installing this update, the Optimus G Pro already gets the QuickWindow case functionality but no KnockON is present.
