If you are using an old fashioned Sony flagships that was released two years back (2012), this is the time to be sad because the Japanese manufacturer has decided to leave all of you alone. According to the fresh report from the Sony, the Japanese manufacturer ends the support for all Xperia Smartphones that was released in the 2012.
So, the Sony Xperia U, Xperia tipo (and tipo dual), Xperia sola, Xperia miro, and Xperia arc S are the Smartphones that are stuck to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich forever, while the Xperia SL, Xperia ion, Xperia acro S, Xperia J, Xperia go, Xperia S, and Xperia P are now stuck to the Android 4.1 JellyBean and all of these flagships will not get any update in the future, not even a small incremental update.
This is not over yet, along with this bad news, the good news for the owners of the Xperia T and Xperia V has also arrived as the Android 4.4 KitKat is under investigation and soon we will see the Android 4.4 KitKat booting on the Sony Xperia T and Xperia V.
