Everybody is waiting for the fifth generation Galaxy S Smartphone and according to the circulating rumors, the Samsung will announce the Galaxy S5 on 24th of February in Barcelona, the day when MWC will kick-off. But now according to the AnTuTu, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have two different variants like we have seen the same on Samsung Galaxy S4, the Quad-core variant and the Octa-Core variant.
AnTuTu shows two different models of the Samsung Galaxy S5 named as SM-G900H and SM-G900R4 nad now its time to go into details. According to the AnTuTu, the SM-G900R4 will be powered with a 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 chipset, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM along with the 32GB of an internal storage. For photography needs, the device will feature a 16 megapixel of primary camera along with the 2.1 megapixel of the secondary camera, QHD display and the device will be running on the Android 4.4.1 KitKat out of the box.
But the device still fails to beat the Galaxy Note 3 in benchmark test and the Samsung SM-G900R4 scores 31,483 which is lower as compared to the score of the Galaxy Note 3.
The SM-G900H will feature an Octa-Core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz, ARM Mali-T628 GPU, 2GB of RAM, HD display and 16GB of an internal storage and the camera and Android version remains same as SM-G900R4 and the device scores 35,445 points in benchmark test.
So tell us which variant will you buy?

2 versions certainly matches with the previous rumours, one sounds like a clear upgrade, the other sounds like very little if different to the S4?
ReplyDelete(please tell me if i'm wrong, i'm not super hot on processors)
are the two editions effectively the S5 and improved S4 kept as a legacy device like Apple does with older iPhones?
or an 'Active' variant?
or just a budget option?
I am waiting for this announcement although I currently favour the Z1 Compact.
