We have already informed the world about the Sony's upcoming Phablet the Xperia Z2 Ultra and now we have got something great to share with all of you. We and everyone is now waiting for the Z Ultra successor, but nobody knows the date of when the Japanese manufacturer will unveil the sibling of the Xperia Z Ultra, but according to one of our loyal reader and insider, the Xperia Z2 Ultra will be unveiled at the IFA 2014.
So, the Xperia Z2 Ultra will be available to buy some days after the IFA 2014 and not only the Z2 Ultra, the Japanese Smartphone manufacturer will also announce some entry-level smartphones for its customers (the phones like the Xperia C), but no information is present about these entry-level until now. It looks like that the Sony is planning something big for the IFA 2014 if the above information is correct.
For a reminder, the Xperia Z2 Ultra will feature a Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801, the same found on the Xperia Z2, 3GB of RAM along with the 16GB of an internal memory with an external SD slot, 3400mAH battery, 2 megapixel secondary camera and 20.7 megapixel of the primary camera which will able to shoot 4K videos and the camera will be backed by the LED flash. The successor will follow the same slim profile that was followed by the Xperia Z Ultra and the device will be water and dust resistant.
When comes to the display, Sony has decided to retain the same screen size, so the Xperia Z2 Ultra will feature 6.44 inches of display, but it's still a secret that whether the display will be QHD or 1080p, but all the things will be clear when Sony unveils this monster. The device will be running on the Android 4.4.3 KitKat out of the box and will hit all the major carriers in the United States.
