We have already reported on the Jelly Bean update for Xperia S and now the same has occurred with Xperia Ion(LT28i). The Jelly Bean firmware is build number 6.2.B.0.203 and was intended for production devices, However the xda-developer legend DooMLoRD has successfully ported it to consumer devices. It will only work with those phones whose bootloader is unlocked due to the need to flash a new kernel. For those users who are not afraid to root their devices, Currently DoomLoRD is uploading the ROM so keep an eye on this thread.
