We knew it wasn't that far away, Huawei has officially announced its true flagship device a couple of days ago in their London event. The smartphone consists of a all-metal design with a thickness of 6.18mm and weighs just about 120gms, Only 8gms more that the Apple Iphone 5, which for sake of argument has a thickness of 7.16mm.
The device will pack a 4.7"-inch 1280 x 720 in-cell LCD display. Under the hood there is a 1.5 Ghz quad-core CPU, (Our guess its the Huawei's K3V2) It will also have 2 GB of RAM. While some might disapprove its internal storage which is only 8GB, Which you can expand via microSD card up to 32GB. On the back there is an 8 MP, F/2.0 BSI lens with a 4cm macro. Don't get disappointed because there is a 5MP camera on the front. The smartphone will run on Android 4.2.2 with Huawei's customary Emotions UI on top. While some of you will be pleased to see the handset boasting Dolby Digital Plus sound. This beast of a smartphone will be powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.
The smartphone will launch in China in June and western Europe from July with 19 countries covered in that month. The smartphone will be made available to 100 nations by the end of this year. An LTE version is also in the works which will hit the market hopefully in the forth quarter. The Ascend P6 will be available in three colors Black, White and Pink respectfully. Most Europeans would have to set aside 601$ for the smartphone. We are still waiting on the pricing details in the UK and other countries.
